Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle Mix
Directions
For Pancakes:
Add mix into a large bowl with warm water and stir together, being careful not to over mix.
Let batter rest for 5 minutes until lightly bubbling while heating a heavy bottom pan.
Lightly brush the pan with oil or butter before you pour the batter (1/3 cup per pancake).
Cook pancakes on medium/low heat until bottoms are golden brown and bubbles form and burst in the centre, about 3 minutes.
Flip and cook until golden, about 2 minutes.
For Waffles:
Add warm water and oil to mix.
Grease waffle maker with oil.
Cook until edges are crispy and insides cooked through.
Add from your pantry:
For full package:
1¼ cups warm water
(Use more water for thinner pancakes)
For a single serving:
¼ cup mix & 2 tablespoons warm water (for thick pancakes)
Or 2½ tablespoons water (for thinner)
For waffles:
1¼ cups warm water
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
