Rose-Infused Labneh, Two Ways

Not just for baking — rose, sesame and honey turn thick homemade labneh into something special, sweet or savoury.

You'll add

Greek yoghurt, rose water, honey, seeds & sumac

Method

  1. Mix the yoghurt, rose water and honey, then spoon into muslin.
  2. Drain in the fridge for 24+ hours until thick.
  3. Spoon into a bowl and top with toasted seeds and salt.
  4. Drizzle with honey and oil; finish with sumac and rose petals.
  5. Serve with pita or crostini, or with grilled figs for dessert.
  6. Or roll into balls and marinate in oil with chilli.
