Frozen High-Protein Matcha & Fruit Bites
We're always happy to see our edible flowers finding their way into beautiful new creations, and these Frozen High-Protein Fruit & Matcha Bites from Maria Ferreira at NourisMeNow caught our eye immediately. Creamy high-protein yoghurt, berries and mango are frozen into little bites, then dipped in a crisp matcha white-chocolate shell and finished with a scattering of edible flowers. They're refreshing, pretty and surprisingly simple to make, with just 10 minutes of prep. At around 7.7g of protein per serving, they're a fun way to turn yoghurt and fruit into a satisfying frozen snack, with a lovely contrast between the creamy fruit centre and crisp matcha coating. And we especially love the flowers. A few little edible blooms turn these from an everyday freezer snack into something that looks beautiful enough to serve when friends come over.
