104 Years Young: A Birthday Celebration With Secret Kiwi Kitchen Chocolate Cupcakes

Every now and then, a customer sends us something that completely stops us in our tracks.

This week, Gilly shared photos from her mum’s 104th birthday celebration, where family gathered together with cake, cupcakes, flowers, balloons, and a whole lot of love.

Front and centre on the table were Secret Kiwi Kitchen cupcakes — and according to Gilly:

“Everyone loved the cupcakes. The birthday cake was left!”

We had to laugh at that one. 😂

But beyond the cupcakes, what really touched us was being included, even in a small way, in such a remarkable family milestone.

At Secret Kiwi Kitchen, we spend our days developing recipes, packing orders, answering emails, and thinking about baking mixes. But moments like these are the reminder that what we’re really part of are people’s lives: birthdays, celebrations, family gatherings, shared tables, and memories in the making.
