The easiest cookies going — just the chocolate cake mix and water bake into rich, crackly cookies.

You'll add

1.5 cups water — that's it

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking tray.
  2. Mix the cake mix with 1.5 cups water until combined.
  3. Scoop 9–12 equal mounds onto the tray, spaced apart to spread.
  4. Bake 10–12 minutes until set.
  5. Cool on the tray a few minutes, then transfer to a rack.
