The best of both worlds — fudgy and decadent like a brownie, with the crisp, crackly edges of a cookie.

You'll add

Your choice of mix-ins — nuts, cranberries, coconut, mini marshmallows or chocolate chunks

Method

  1. Make up the brownie batter as per the pack, then fold through any mix-ins you like.
  2. Spoon onto parchment-lined trays, leaving space to spread.
  3. Bake at 180°C until the tops are shiny and crackled.
  4. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt while warm.
  5. Cool 5–10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
