Two Mums who believe in the magic of home cooking are the founders of Secret Kiwi Kitchen. The team is based in Auckland and strives to deliver products that not only make people’s lives easier, but also highlight New Zealand’s best ingredients.
Their all-natural pancake mix is made with New Zealand buttermilk and milk. They also added Heilala’s real vanilla and a pinch of malt to create a fluffy pancake with depth. The mix can also make crispy edged waffles.
“The quality of ingredients and taste is our key point of difference,” they say. “Many of the budget pancake ‘just add water’ brands are produced in large plastic bottles. We have packaged ours in a reclosable zip lock soft plastic recyclable bag that allows for individual servings to be made and is easier to transport when on the go.
“Other budget brands on the market are produced by International conglomerates using imported milk and GMO flour. Our pancake mix offers a delicious upmarket alternative that appeals to a wider demographic.”
